new obsession!

Hi every one
Sorry its been a while since my last post but i have been kind of busy with my new jewellery line. It was all down to my darling step daughter and friendship bands.
I wanted to try and get her into crafting to see if we could get the artistic side out of her. I bought 2 Kumihimo disks for us for Xmas and we are totally addicted here is a couple we have made.

P foooooorrrrrrrrrr PADDY!!!!!!!

yeah i know i am going crazy lol

This was done in crochet and to finish it off i gave it capped sleeves.
Paddy is grinning for you all in the first picture :oD

Ok here are the new doggy coats i have been designing

This coat was hand knitted on my new pro knit circular needles. Really easy to do and finished off with some crochet. Paddy just loves this coat.

Winnie the pooh baby blanket

doesn't winnie look so snug lol. Another blanket for ebay. I loved making this but the down side is how long it took. Took me 1 month as it was my first charted afghan.

baby blanket for ebay

I loved making this it worked up so fast for its size. Lot's of tails to sew in though BOOOOO!!!!! lol. Got it on ebay for sale if your interested. Under alexearlam.
How cute are these booties. I loved making them knowing that some little toes will be kept warm this winter :o)

SORRY!!!!

Wow it has been so long since i last posted a message. I have moved home and settled in. Also managed to do some crochet (gasp) lol.

Hand knitted this adorable set. In lemon yarn.

I love this picture. Max is looking away as i shout his name and Paddy looks like he is saying not another picture mum lol.

The afghan/blanket is my latest creation i call it a box of pansies. Both wools have different flecks of colours in it. I edged the whole thing in a rib stitch which finishes it off just perfect.
Today is an awesome day. The sun is shining and i don't have a care in the world.
Juz :o)

moogle

I made this for my hubby for xmas as a little gift. He loves it. For those of you who are not Final Fantasy fans it is a character that runs through the whole of the final fantasy games. His name is moogle. He is kind of a gamers helper. :o)

The pattern what he was made from was from http://www.amysbabies.blogspot.com/.

Amy offers the pattern for free. Thank you Amy for a great pattern :o)

Find a name?

I made this square whilst sat watching Blade steak another vampire. Not sure why this is relevant lol. When i look at it now it looks rather Gothic what do you think? Couldn't think of a name for it. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :o)

This square was done from a pattern in 200 squares and blocks book by Jan Eaton. I love this book as it makes an awesome reference and inspiration when doing afghans :o)

sparkles scarf

This scarf was done for a little girl who just adores pink sparkles.
My very first attempt at a bag. It was made to match the poncho i did for the little girl. I don't think it turned out so bad for a first time effort. What do you think? :o)

A mile of chocolate and fudge

I just adore this afghan. The pictures don't show the colours very well but the pattern from my head just worked so well. This is currently on eBay being sold by my hubby. Hope you all like it :o)

Well seen as my hubby made me the scarf i had to make my self a hat to match. I love how this has turned out. It is amazing how a few fpdc makes something very special. Just hope it is warm enough as the weather here is getting way too cold for my liking. :o)

After all i will be making many more insperations :o). Hope you enjoy this as much as i did making it :o).

I was very fortunate to receive some rowan 4ply pure cotton yarn from a special lady. I wanted to do something special with it as. I loved the colour and couldn't stop holding the ball of wool and purrrring at it LOL. So i decided that seen as the ball of wool spent most of its time at my face i would make a wash mitt with it. I have warned every one in the house that if they touch it i will kill them LOL.

I would just like to say a special thank you to my awesome hubby. He has never picked up a loom in his life. He has never crafted with wool in his life. Yet after watching me make the stripe afghan on my authentic knitting board. He asked if he could make me a scarf. I have been meaning to make my self a scarf from this lush aran wool for some time. Alex made this wonderful scarf for me on the knifty knitter pink long loom. I just love it. Thank you baby xxxx

Here is a picture of my beautiful new loom and a swatch i did with some regular DK weight yarn. I just love this loom :o) Thanks again Helen :o)

It's been a hectic weekend. I finished the poncho. Managed to write the pattern for the dog coats for the loom. Infact any loom with any yarn you like :o). I am just testing the pattern then will be posting it for those who may want it :o). I have also managed to make a wash mitt with some wonderful yarn a very good friend sent to me along with my new loom:o). She is a wonderful lady and been very very helpful to me the last few weeks. I will post picture of my new loom and the wash mitt when i get a chance :o)

Hope you are feeling better soon Helen :o)
